Qatar Ministry of Justice Office Project

This project covers the office renovation for the Ministry of Justice in Doha, Qatar, adopting our high-performance SG-100 partition system.

The first floor features a 3,600 mm ceiling height, while all other floors are set at 3,000 mm, with a total project area reaching 3,600 square meters. The partitions use durable double-sided melamine wood panels, paired with practical double-glazed louvered doors.

As a government office space, the project prioritizes daily privacy and sound insulation, fully meeting the strict operational standards for public-sector offices.

Sound insulation and independent spatial privacy were the two non-negotiable core demands from the client.

They required a 100mm thick partition structure to upgrade overall acoustic performance. Beyond partition walls, the client was aware that noise often leaks through weak points, such as suspended ceilings and raised floors.

This is a high-standard government office project with strict usage demands.

The client specified a 100mm-thick partition structure with mandatory requirements for sound insulation and privacy. Compared with the conventional SG-86 system and traditional drywall, SG-100 is far better suited to this scenario.

Built with a sturdy steel core, SG-100 is engineered for high-demand spaces such as government departments, medical facilities, and regulated commercial areas. It also supports fire-rated specifications as a core modular system.

It integrates partition walls, matching door sets, structural stability, and future maintenance into a single complete solution. Its neat, high-grade, and unified finish perfectly fits the formal and professional image of government office buildings.

The biggest construction challenge was ensuring a stable connection between the new partition walls and the building’s glass curtain wall.

Our on-site team adopted a practical three-step installation method:

Besides curtain wall connections, suspended ceilings and raised floors also brought big challenges to acoustic performance.

We avoided simple single-point upgrades and delivered comprehensive, end-to-end processing for all weak-noise links, with every sealing and interface plan fully communicated and confirmed with the client before construction.

The project was completed smoothly and delivered in full, in line with the client’s high-standard acoustic and privacy expectations.

We learned that effective office sound control relies on overall design, not just single wall materials. Ceiling gaps, floor cavities, door selection, and all connecting interfaces must be processed in a coordinated way.

The combination of double-glazed louvered doors, solid-panel partitions, and internal acoustic materials perfectly balances privacy, quietness, and formal aesthetics.
