Booth Deployment for HCT Abu Dhabi City Campus and Fujairah Campus
Project Background & Client Requirements
In September 2024, we received a project inquiry from Dubai-based interior soundproofing specialist Eomac Interiors LLC. This project covered two separate educational campuses: HCT Abu Dhabi City Campus and Fujairah Campus, with a total order quantity of 80 booths, including 40 single-person booths and 40 double-person booths. All units were planned for installation in campus hallways and corridors, to serve private phone calls and brief student conversations.
For this educational campus project, the client prioritized compliance documentation, configuration standards, and bulk-delivery capability over simple order quantities. They required full SGS acoustic test reports in line with ISO 23351-1 NIC standards, complete VOC test reports for the whole booth and key materials including PET panels and carpet, door closers, movable booth structures, 4000K LED lighting, CE-certified 150 CFM fans, ultra-clear glass, plus an 8-year warranty for all components.
Booth Solution Advantages Over Fixed Partitions
Instead of traditional fixed partitions or on-site room renovations, the client chose modular booth systems for campus public passageways. Prefabricated booths can quickly provide private communication spaces without disruptive construction work. As this project spans two campuses, consistent product quality, complete documentation, reasonable installation procedures, and after-sales support have become extremely important for bulk deployment.
To meet strict acoustic performance requirements, we adopted a composite laminated & insulated glass solution for doors and glass panels, which significantly improved overall sound insulation.
Final Project Configurations
The final delivered package consisted of 40 single-person booths and 40 two-person booths. Single-person booths are designed for individual student phone calls, while double-person booths support one-on-one student discussions and short conversations.
Standard configurations include door closers, movable booth frames, 4000K LED lighting, CE-certified 150 CFM fans, and ultra-clear glass. For intelligent functions, we standardized occupancy sensors and automatic air-refresh systems without defining fixed operating-time settings.
Factory Inspection, Customized Solutions & On-Site Execution
After the CIFF exhibition in Guangzhou in March 2025, the client’s project manager and procurement team visited our factory for an on-site inspection. They verified the actual indoor quiet experience, installation difficulty, and packaging and part-number management for bulk orders.
The client conducted acoustic testing in our showroom at night under quiet conditions: testing sound leakage by speaking inside and outside the booth, and testing noise performance with Bluetooth background music. They also completed a full assembly test of a single-person booth following the manual, which took around 45 minutes for two inexperienced installers.
Based on their feedback, we upgraded the outer packaging from standard honeycomb cardboard to 18mm plywood, labeled every component with unique part numbers that match the installation drawings, and provided full multi-angle photos of the components and packaging confirmation before sealing. During production, we regularly shared material progress updates, pre-production sample photos, and accessory videos for client approval before final packaging.
During the initial on-site installation, the first two booths failed to meet the expected sound insulation after the doors were closed. We provided immediate remote video troubleshooting and found the issue was incorrect door frame installation. After guiding the on-site team to reassemble properly, all remaining booths were smoothly installed within 10 days.
Project Completion & After-Sales Support
The whole project ran smoothly from deposit payment and sample confirmation to packaging approval and on-site installation. In addition to the 80-booth delivery, we supplied a full set of spare parts, including door locks, handles, casters, LED strips, transformers, and fans, for convenient future maintenance.
All booths were successfully deployed at both Abu Dhabi and Fujairah campuses. This project not only fulfilled all acoustic, documentation, and configuration requirements but also delivered a complete end-to-end service covering factory inspection, packaging upgrade, part number management, pre-production confirmation, and remote installation technical support.
